We sign our documents by electronic signature

In the interest of efficiency and timeliness Tryg Trade generally issues surety bonds via digital signature. However, physically signed documents can also be provided, ultimately it is the beneficiary that will determine the issuance method.

What is a digital signature?

A digital signature is an e-signature that is backed by a digital certificate. Digital signatures comply with regulations around the world and provide the highest level of identity assurance when dealing with digital documents.

How does it work?

POMnet

- Vi gør det nemt!

As part of the automatic surety bond processing in Tryg Trade's online system POMnet, surety bond documents are today only issued as PDF files. This means that in general, physical copies of the surety bonds are no longer available.

Each surety bond is signed with a scanned signature, which has the same validity as the original signature. In addition to the scanned signature, the PDF surety bond also has a digital electronic signature, which verifies that the PDF surety bond has been processed by Tryg Trade. The digital signature also applies, when you forward the document by e-mail.

We therefore recommend that you always send your documents to your business partners by email. In this way, they can instantly verify the validity of the document.

Our certifying partner is Digicert. You can read more about digital signature from Digicert here.
